The Park

We took all the kids to the park yesterday. It was so much fun. Will taught the kids how to dig in the dirt and get dirty. I think I might make him start doing the laundry. But the kids enjoyed it! They had fun, and it was the first time the twins were able to play in the dirt. So they had a blast. Ty kept tring to eat his stick though. After we played for a while, we took them for a nature walk. It was part of family home evening. They were able to find one thing and talk about it. Describe what they found. My intentions were for them to see and recognize what god has given to us here on earth. But the still

St Patty's Day

For the St. Patricks Day, we made a "Green" family breakfast. Mommy and Daddy made Green eggs, green grits, we put green frosting on our home made cinnamon rolls, green grapes, and bacon and sausage. Dade was not happy with green eggs, guess those were a little weird for him. Then after breakfast we made sugar cookies with green sprinkles. We had fun, although Dade doesn't like very many things that are green.

All is well.... I know I don't post very often, but everything is good! All the kids are great!

Our Newest Barker

Well yesterday we got to drive out to Hazleton, PA to welcome our newest neice into the world. She is a beautiful baby... She weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 21 inches long. Here are some pics..




However our bad luck landed us stranded in PA yesterday because the Van we just bought, well the transmission is bad and would not go! But its OK, we got to spend some much needed time with Jason, Tiffany and Savannah. However our van still isn't here. We had it towed to a shop... :( We can never catch a break!
